About Me
Hi, I’m Bushra an ACE-certified Group Fitness Instructor, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and Behavior Change Coach dedicated to helping people embrace healthier, more active lifestyles that truly last.
I’ve led group fitness classes at the YMCA (Coal Creek and Sammamish branches) and Mommy’s Fit Zone in Issaquah. During the pandemic, I discovered a love for teaching small-group outdoor workouts—a passion that inspired me to create The Plum Path Fitness, my own fitness venture where community, movement, and motivation come together.
I grew up in Manchester, UK, and fell in love with group fitness early on—starting with Boxercise, Step Aerobics, Circuit Training, and the classic Bums & Tums! That passion eventually led me to become a certified instructor in 2017. My classes blend full-body strength training and cardio, using a variety of formats and equipment—like dumbbells, battle ropes, medicine balls, BOSUs, and steps—to keep workouts fun, fresh, and challenging.
When I’m not leading workouts, you’ll often find me running—I’m a big fan of middle-distance running, and my family and I love taking part in Parkrun 5Ks every Saturday.
As a Behavior Change Coach, I help clients uncover their own path to eating well, staying active, and making positive, sustainable choices for themselves and their families. I don’t believe in quick fixes—I believe in real, lasting lifestyle change and nourishing your body with food that fuels you. No matter which program you join, I’ll be there to support, guide, and equip you with the tools to live your healthiest, happiest life.
You can follow me on Facebook or Instagram for more tips, motivation, and inspiration on fitness, nutrition, and everyday wellness.
Outside of fitness, I work as a Spanish Tutor and Translator and a Middle School Substitute Teacher. I love meeting friends (and new people!) for coffee, and my greatest pride and joy are my three wonderful kids!
